Renovation glass

Renovation glass

If your window profiles are still windproof and sturdy, it may be cost-effective to replace the existing glazing with high-performance glazing, provided that it is easily adapted to the existing window by the professionals of Group Ceyssens - the renovation specialist.

The U-value of single glazing is greater than 4.2 W/m²K. The U-value expresses the amount of heat per second, per square metre and per degree of temperature difference between one side of a construction and the other. The higher the U-value, the greater the loss of heat. Ordinary double glazing has a U-value of 2.9 W/m²K. The U-value of high-performance glass is 1.1 W/m²K to 0.6 W/m²K. This means that HR glass insulates up to almost 3 to 5 times better than ordinary double glazing.
